Index (ASI) depreciated by 0.12% to close at 38,802.15. Market Capitalization
decreased by 24 Billion to close at N20.21 trillion while the Year-to-Date (YtD)
returns settled at –3.65%.

Today’s market direction can be largely attributed to losses recorded in large and
mid-cap stocks in Banking, Agriculture and Consumer goods sector. Some of today’s
