The Nigerian Exchange Limited Bourse closed Positive. The benchmark All Share
Index (ASI) appreciated by 0.46% to close at 43,308.29. Market Capitalization
increased by 104 billion to close at N22.60 trillion while the Year-to-Date (YtD)
returns settled at 7.54%.
What shaped today’s market direction?
Today’s market direction can be largely attributed to gains recorded in large and
mid-cap stocks in Banking, Industrial and Consumer Goods. Some of today’s market
gainers include: ABCTRANS (10.00%), ROYALEX (10.00%), AIICO (9.38%),
AIRTELAFRI (3.83%), JAIZBANK (3.08%), ARDOVA (3.03%), UNITYBNK (1.96%),
STERLNBANK (0.68%) and GUINNESS (0.27%) amongst others.
