Daily Market Report for September 09, 2022

• The Nigerian Exchange Limited Bourse closed Positive. The benchmark All Share Index (ASI) appreciated by 0.09% to close at 49,695.12 pts. Market Capitalization increased by 23.12 billion to close at N26.80 trillion and the Year-to-Date (YtD) returns settled at 16.34%.
• Performance across sectors was broadly bullish as 4 out of 5 sectors closed in the green zone. Banking, Consumer Goods, Industrial and Insurance Indices advanced by 0.87%, 0.06%, 0.15% and 0.44% respectively. While Oil/Gas Index declined by 0.16%. 
• Market activity measured by aggregate volume increased by 97.11% and value increased by 14.60%. Investors traded a total of 319 million units of shares valued at N1.86 billion in 3,335 deals.
