Daily Market Report for September 14, 2022

• The Nigerian Exchange Limited Bourse closed Negative. The benchmark All Share Index (ASI) depreciated by 0.10% to close at 49,575.93 pts. Market Capitalization decreased by 27.93 million to close at N26.74 trillion and the Year-to-Date (YtD) returns settled at 16.06%.
• Performance across sectors was broadly bearish as 4 out of 5 sectors closed in the red zone. Banking, Consumer Goods, Industrial and Insurance Indices declined by 1.32%, 0.02%, 0.01% and 1.09% respectively.  While Oil/Gas Index remained unchanged.
• Market activity measured by aggregate volume increased by 23.22% and value increased by 97.76%. Investors traded a total of 197 million units of shares valued at N2.94 billion in 3,462 deals.
