Index (ASI) appreciated by 0.03% to close at 38,927.83. Market Capitalization
increased by 5 Billion to close at N20.28 trillion while the Year-to-Date (YtD) returns
settled at –3.33%.

Today’s market direction can be largely attributed to gains recorded in large and
mid-cap stocks in Banking, Industrial and Consumer goods sector. Some of today’s
market gainers include: CUTIX (10.00%), TRIPPLEG (7.78%), PRESCO (3.71%),
NAHCO (2.44%), ACCESS (2.22%), FCMB (2.00%), STERLNBANK (1.32%),
TRANSCORP (1.08%), WAPCO (0.46%) and ZENITHBANK (0.41%) amongst others.
