Index (ASI) depreciated by 0.12% to close at 39,204.52. Market Capitalization
decreased by 24.37 Billion to close at N20.426 trillion while the Year-to-Date (YtD)
returns settled at –2.65%.

Today’s market direction can be largely attributed to losses recorded in large and
mid-cap stocks in Banking, Industrial and Consumer goods sector. Some of today’s
market losers include: SCOA (-9.72%), INTBREW (-4.00%), GTCO (-1.99%), UPDC (-
1.67%), ETI (-0.95%), FIDELITYBK (-0.85%), ZENITHBANK (-0.83%), STERLNBANK (-
0.64%), STANBIC (-0.51%), UACN (-0.47%) and CUTIX (-0.42%) amongst others.
