The Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) closed Flat. The benchmark All Share Index
(ASI) depreciated by 0.02% to close at 38,915.62. Market Capitalization decreased
by 3.20 Billion to close at N20.28 trillion while the Year-to-Date (YtD) returns settled
at –3.36%.

Today’s market direction can be largely attributed to losses recorded in large and
mid-cap stocks in Banking, Industrial and Consumer goods sector. Some of today’s
market losers include: SCOA (-10.00%), UPDC (-6.21%), OANDO (-4.09%), GUINNESS
(-3.23%), FIDSON (-2.56%), WAPCO (-1.79%), AFRIPRUD (-1.56%), FBNH (-0.66%),
CAVERTON (-0.58%) and UACN (-0.48%) amongst others.
