The Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) closed Negative. The benchmark All Share
Index (ASI) depreciated by 0.09% to close at 41,975.45. Market Capitalization
decreased by 19.80 Billion to close at N21.90 trillion while the Year-to-Date (YtD)
returns settled at 4.23%.

Today’s market direction can be largely attributed to losses recorded in large and
mid-cap stocks in Banking, Industrial, Oil and Gas and Consumer goods sector. Some
of today’s market losers include: LASACO (-9.40%), ARDOVA (-7.53%), LINKASSURE
(-7.02%), ETERNA (-6.61%), AIICO (-4.69%), MANSARD (-3.45%), NGXGROUP (-
3.00%), TRANSCORP (-2.91%), WAPCO (-2.61%), UBA (-2.35%), ZENITHBANK (-
2.00%), GTCO (-1.06%) UPDC (-0.61%) and ETI (-0.61%) amongst others.
