Daily Market Report for June 14, 2022

• The Nigerian Exchange Limited Bourse closed Negative. The benchmark All Share Index (ASI) depreciated by 0.16% to close at 53,114.65 pts. Market Capitalization decreased by 46.76 billion to close at N28.63 trillion and the Year-to-Date (YtD) returns settled at 24.34%.
• Performance across sectors was broadly bearish as 4 out of 5 sectors closed in the red zone. Banking, Consumer Goods, Industrial and Oil/Gas Indices declined by 0.35%, 0.50%, 0.11%, and 0.46% respectively. While Insurance Index advanced by 0.16%. 
• Market activity measured by aggregate volume increased by 9.79% and value increased by 17.11%. Investors traded a total of 299 million units of shares valued at N3.1 billion in 5,394 deals.
