Index (ASI) depreciated by 0.08% to close at 41,943.83. Market Capitalization
decreased by 16.50 Billion to close at N21.88 trillion while the Year-to-Date (YtD)
returns settled at 4.15%.

Today’s market direction can be largely attributed to losses recorded in large and
mid-cap stocks in Banking, Industrial, Oil and Gas and Consumer goods sector. Some
of today’s market losers include: PHARMDEKO (-10.00%), UNILEVER (-8.65%),
GUINNESS (-7.27%), PZ (-5.51%), NGXGROUP (-4.38%), NAHCO (-4.23%), OANDO (-
3.41%), UBA (-2.41%), WAPCO (-1.92%), UNITYBNK (-1.85%), CAVERTON (-1.11%),
LASACO (-0.94%), NEIMETH (-0.55%) and ACCESS (-0.54%) amongst others.
