Index (ASI) depreciated by 0.22% to close at 42,317.52. Market Capitalization
decreased by 48.84 billion to close at N22.08 trillion while the Year-to-Date (YtD)
returns settled at 5.08%.

Today’s market direction can be largely attributed to losses recorded in large and
mid-cap stocks in Banking, Industrial and Consumer Goods. Some of today’s market
losers include: GTCO (-3.85%), ETI (-2.69%), PZ (-1.67%), STANBIC (-1.37%),
STERLNBANK (-1.32%), UBA (-1.25%), ACCESS (-1.10%), INTBREW (-1.01%), WAPCO
(-0.80%), FLOURMILL (-0.70%) and OANDO (-0.42%) amongst others.
