NGX All Share Index closes on a Negative note… ASI loses 15 Basis Points

The Nigerian Exchange Limited Bourse closed Negative. The benchmark All Share
Index (ASI) depreciated by 0.15% to close at 47,282.67 pts. Market Capitalization
decreased by 38.67 billion to close at N25.48 trillion while the Year-to-Date (YtD)
returns settled at 10.69%.
What shaped today’s market direction?
Today’s market direction can be largely attributed to losses recorded in large and
mid-cap stocks in Banking, Industrial and Consumer Goods. Some of today’s market
losers include, MRS (-9.96%), ACCESS (-5.77%), GLAXOSMITH (-4.96%), BUAFOODS
(-3.09%), AFRIPRUD (-1.64%), OANDO (-1.57%), NGXGROUP (-1.47%), ETI (-0.42%)
and FBNH (-0.42%) amongst others.
