The Nigerian Exchange Limited Bourse closed Negative. The benchmark All Share
Index (ASI) depreciated by 0.48% to close at 46,543.51. Market Capitalization
decreased by 120.04 billion to close at N25.09 trillion while the Year-to-Date (YtD)
returns settled at 8.96%.

Today’s market direction can be largely attributed to losses recorded in large and
mid-cap stocks in Banking, Industrial and Consumer Goods. Some of today’s market
losers include, VERITASKAP (-8.70%), UACN (-7.49%), TRANSCOHOT (-6.78%), ETI (-
2.92%), DANGSUGAR (-1.90%), WEMABANK (-1.67%), NASCON (-1.26%), FCMB (-
0.62%) and ACCESSCORP (-0.51%) amongst others.

Securities Index (USI) decreased by 0.21% to close at 727.56. Consequently, Market
Capitalization closed at 956.65 billion. Market activity measured by aggregate
