Daily Market Report for June 23, 2022

• The Nigerian Exchange Limited Bourse closed Positive. The benchmark All Share Index (ASI) appreciated by 0.47% to close at 51,618.73 pts. Market Capitalization increased by 130.21 billion to close at N27.83 trillion and the Year-to-Date (YtD) returns settled at 20.84%.
• Performance across sectors was broadly bullish as 3 out of 5 sectors closed in the green zone. Banking, Insurance and Oil/Gas Indices advanced by 0.15%, 0.73% and 0.53% respectively. Consumer Goods Index declined by 0.34%. While Industrial Index remained unchanged. 
• Market activity measured by aggregate volume decreased by 2.67% and value decreased by 10.57%. Investors traded a total of 223 million units of shares valued at N2.86 billion in 4,028 deals.
