Daily Market Report for September 13, 2022

• The Nigerian Exchange Limited Bourse closed Flat. The benchmark All Share Index (ASI) appreciated by 0.003% to close at 49,627.72 pts. Market Capitalization increased by 901.66 million to close at N26.77 trillion and the Year-to-Date (YtD) returns settled at 16.18%.
• Performance across sectors was broadly bearish as 3 out of 5 sectors closed in the red zone. Banking, Consumer Goods and Insurance Indices declined by 0.09%, 0.02% and 0.57% respectively. Industrial Index advanced by 0.14%. While Oil/Gas Index remained unchanged.
• Market activity measured by aggregate volume increased by 85.05% and value increased by 27.17%. Investors traded a total of 160 million units of shares valued at N1.49 billion in 3,847 deals.
