Daily Market Report for June 15, 2022

• The Nigerian Exchange Limited Bourse closed Negative. The benchmark All Share Index (ASI) depreciated by 0.64% to close at 52,775.40 pts. Market Capitalization decreased by 182.91 billion to close at N28.45 trillion and the Year-to-Date (YtD) returns settled at 23.55%.
• Performance across sectors was broadly bearish as 3 out of 5 sectors closed in the red zone. Banking, Consumer Goods and Insurance Indices declined by 2.01%, 1.05%, and 0.87% respectively. While Industrial and Oil/Gas Indices advanced by 0.05% and 0.07% respectively. 
• Market activity measured by aggregate volume decreased by 37.30% and value increased by 23.76%. Investors traded a total of 188 million units of shares valued at N2.36 billion in 4,890 deals.
