Daily Market Report for September 15, 2022

• The Nigerian Exchange Limited Bourse closed Negative. The benchmark All Share Index (ASI) depreciated by 0.07% to close at 49,540.48 pts. Market Capitalization decreased by 19.12 million to close at N26.72 trillion and the Year-to-Date (YtD) returns settled at 15.98%.
• Performance across sectors was broadly bearish as 4 out of 5 sectors closed in the red zone. Banking, Consumer Goods, Insurance and Oil/Gas Indices declined by 0.09%, 0.26%, 0.18% and 0.16% respectively.  While Industrial Index remained unchanged.
• Market activity measured by aggregate volume decreased by 15.12% and value decreased by 57.03%. Investors traded a total of 168 million units of shares valued at N1.26 billion in 3,458 deals.
