The Nigerian Exchange Limited Bourse closed Negative. The benchmark All Share
Index (ASI) depreciated by 0.32% to close at 43,108.77. Market Capitalization
decreased by 71.09 billion to close at N22.49 trillion while the Year-to-Date (YtD)
returns settled at 7.05%.

Today’s market direction can be largely attributed to losses recorded in large and
mid-cap stocks in Banking, Industrial and Consumer Goods. Some of today’s market
losers include: MRS (-9.87%), CHAMS (-8.70%), ETI (-8.57%), NB (-5.14%), UACN (-
4.31%), SEPLAT (-3.63%), TRANSCORP (-2.04%), CADBURY (-1.60%), GTCO (-1.57%),
FCMB (-0.97%), STERLNBANK (-0.67%), ACCESS (-0.55%), UNILEVER (-0.36%) and
OANDO (-0.20%) amongst others.
