The Nigerian Exchange Limited Bourse closed Negative. The benchmark All Share
Index (ASI) depreciated by 0.33% to close at 46,687.85. Market Capitalization
decreased by 83.57 billion to close at N25.17 trillion while the Year-to-Date (YtD)
returns settled at 9.30%.

Today’s market direction can be largely attributed to losses recorded in large and
mid-cap stocks in Banking, Industrial and Consumer Goods. Some of today’s market
losers include, REGALINS (-9.68%), WAPIC (-6.82%), PZ (-5.21%), FCMB (-3.94%),
FBNH (-3.28%), WAPCO (-2.65%), UBA (-2.60%), GUINNESS (-2.04%), ZENITHBANK
(-1.79%), ACCESSCORP (-1.03%), MTNN (-0.93%) and NGXGROUP (-0.83%) amongst
others.
