  • The Nigerian Exchange Limited Bourse closed Flat. The benchmark All Share Index (ASI) depreciated by 0.01% to close at 49,676.75 pts. Market Capitalization decreased by 2.91 billion to close at N26.79 trillion and the Year-to-Date (YtD) returns settled at 16.29%.
  • Performance across sectors was broadly bearish as 3 out of 5 sectors closed in the red zone. Consumer Goods, Insurance and Oil/Gas indices declined by 0.26%, 0.24% and 0.05% respectively. Banking index advanced by 0.25%.  While Industrial index remained flat.
  • Market activity measured by aggregate volume increased by 20.38% while value decreased by 52.90%. Investors traded a total of 233 million units of shares valued at N2.19 billion in 4,425 deals.

  • Performance across sectors was broadly bearish as 3 out of 5 sectors closed in the red zone. Banking, Industrial, and Insurance indices declined by 0.67%, 0.01% and 0.39% respectively. While Consumer Goods and Oil/Gas indices advanced by 0.51% and 0.16% respectively.
  • Market activity measured by aggregate volume decreased by 14.55% and value increased by 67.93%. Investors traded a total of 194 million units of shares valued at N4.64 billion in 3,307 deals.

  • Performance across sectors was broadly bullish as 4 out of 5 sectors closed in the green zone. Banking, Consumer Goods, Insurance and Oil/Gas indices advanced by 0.19%, 0.77%, 0.35% and 0.65% respectively. While Industrial index declined by 0.01%.
  • Market activity measured by aggregate volume increased by 35.15% and value decreased by 18.08%. Investors traded a total of 226 million units of shares valued at N2.76 billion in 3,515 deals.
