  • Performance across sectors was broadly bearish as 4 out of 5 sectors closed in the red zone. Banking, Industrial, Insurance and Oil/Gas Indices declined by 2.34%, 0.04%, 1.10% and 1.07% respectively. While Consumer Goods Index advanced by 0.05%.
  • Market activity measured by aggregate volume increased by 431.17% and value increased by 39.79%. Investors traded a total of 830 million units of shares valued at N4.11 billion in 4,977 deals.
